Half way there

Goodbye Europe!! (late post)

It all comes down to this.... Our farewell to Barcelona, and the rest of Europe, as of today.

Spending this time with Donna, Anthony, Julia, and my Parents has created memories for all of us, we will always cherish, and certainly never forget.

When we started speaking about leaving yesterday, we realized we have used almost any type of transportation you can dream of, over the past twenty days. Yes, the usual,... planes, trains and automobiles, but add to that, a cruise ship, Jetfoil, Funicular, as well as the universally known Venetian Gondola, were all in the mix. All this intertwined with cabs/taxis, tour buses galore, riverboats, and ferry boats, and the list goes on.

The many cities we visited , all of them, unique, from their own culture, food, smells, and memorable city scenes and landscapes. The world, and all if it's people are amazingly similar, but remarkably different, on so many levels.

Taking the kids, and letting them experience the world will hopefully encourage them to appreciate, and absorb the riches of knowledge that come with traveling, and immersing oneself in different places, and with different people.

Julia may be too young still, but Anthony has really shown a true passion for exploring what other countries have to offer, and understanding that there's a lot of things to see and do. Looks like a Study Abroad will most likely be in his future.

All in all, this has been hands down the most enjoyable and memorable trip we have ever taken.
