Recapping October

Whew---What a month!!! The Rays in the World Series was nearly the death of me - I almost reached full sleep deprivation DEFCON Level 5 over the past few weeks. Brutal!

I'm sure all of you who watched and/or went to the Rays games have felt it too. I have to say, it was absolutely one of the best sport experiences to have the Rays in the playoff games, and especially in the World Series! In all honesty, I was late on the bandwagon, but certainly am proud of the Rays, and appreciative of what it has done for the area overall. Next year should be great, and I do plan on supporting the Rays, and going a lot more to watch them play - I hope you do too. Here we are at Game 2 of the World Series at Tropicana Field! GREAT GAME!!

Now we've got the Super Bowl coming to Tampa in 2009, and this place will be on the national and international radar(in a big way) again!! Hopefully the BUCs can get into the playoffs too!

I also joined the masses on Facebook this month. At first I was a bit skeptical. As you all know, I am a big fan of the web, and my occasional blogging, etc., but I thought Facebook would not be for me. Boy, was I wrong. It's been a lot of fun, easy to use, and helped me reconnect with lots of folks. Thanks LT for making the recommendation for me to try it!! If you haven't checked into Facebook.com, give it a try, it will really grow on you.

Last night was Halloween, and we had a great time. I hope all of you also had a safe and fun time out there. The neighborhood over here had more kids this year than last, but certainly not at the levels of kids we had roaming in the streets, when I was a kid. Anthony was Darth Vadar (see a few posts below), and hauled in big load of goodies, including a pumpkin PEZ!!! Here's our pumpkin!

Today has been a lazy day at the DiCosola household. We're enjoying the beautiful weather, and getting ready for Day Light Savings to kick in tonight. Don't forget, turn your clocks back an hour tonight.

Have a great weekend, and send an email if you have a minute!
