Ugh.... I hate Mondays....

Happy Monday. Yea, right! There's gotta be a better way. Weekends are so nice, and laid back, and then we are forced to get back into the rat race that starts with the Monday morning alarm clock ring. Everything starts at a faster pace on Monday, than any other day of the week for me, and seems to wear both my stamina and patience thin by 5:00 p.m. Sounds like I'm complaining, but not really... ok, well, kind of. I'm gonna try to tackle this new week of February 2007 with some vigor and motivation, and give it my best shot -- really, I mean it. Try to do the same, if you feel up to it. Good luck, I'll need some as well.

Now for the weekend, starting with the Super Bowl first. I missed my guess of the final score by a little bit, but I was in the right ballpark, and picked the Colts to prevail. Like most Tampa Bay folks, it warmed my heart to see a quality individual like Tony Dungy win the Big Game. He certainly deserves it! I'm happy to see a 'good guy' finish first!

I'm also happy to report that my email with Roadrunner has been working very well since my fiasco with it starting Friday. I've got to give kudos to the Roadrunner folks for working with me on it, and getting the problem fixed as quickly as they did. I'm sticking with them for a while.

As for Anthony, he was a trooper this weekend. Since the weather was pretty cold and wet, we ended up doing a lot of errands, and running over to Lowes - which, for most kids, is not even the least bit fun. He enjoyed touching all of the carpet samples (which was not what we were shopping for), and riding around in the shopping cart.

In the parking lot we saw an old Buick -- looked like something out of the Cars movie. It looked a lot like this one:

On Saturday, my Dad and his neighbor Kenny came over and installed a sliding glass door, that opens up to our new covered patio. Our master bedroom/bathroom remodel is taking some time, but we are making a lot of head way this month, and hope to really get close to being done by the end of this month (here's hoping). It's a little early now, but once we get some more things done, I will post some photos of our progress.

Time to wrap it up for the night.... Have a great weekend. Oh, and by the way, enjoy your Monday!
