Having Fun With Anthony

I hope you enjoyed yesterday's posting and pictures. I've got a selection of Anthony pictures below. We've been having some fun and playing around.

Tonight, since Donna was working, Anthony and I went over to my parents, and had a great dinner. On the way over, I took an action shot of Anthony in the back seat. It came out pretty good, don't you think?

This past Sunday, Anthony helped whip up some eggs for breakfast. He's getting pretty good in the kitchen. He can even do a pretty good impression of Emeril Lagasse's " BAM!!!"

On our scooter journey tonight we went to the end of 46th Avenue N.E. in our neighborhood. It's a dead end, where the street meets the main canal into Waterway Estates. Behind Anthony in the picture below you can see the back of some houses in Placido Bayou. The houses over there have a mangrove/preserve type of backyard, as you can tell in the picture.

Last but not least, Anthony had to try out his new Halloween costume. He just loves it! The kid's gone Spiderman Crazy! I think he has a Spiderman bookbag, lunch box, sneakers, and pajamas just to name a few. He's definately ready to go trick-or-treating, and so are we!

Well, it's time to get some shuteye and wrap up this work week. TGIF! I hope the weather is nice, it's supposed to be. Have a great Friday, and I hope to get some good photos over the weekend since it looks like there will be lots of fun stuff to do outside.

Out for now, ~Frank

Hello Out There!

HI folks! Sorry for my sabatical from the blog. As you can imagine, life has gotten in the way. There's been a lot happening on this end, especially work related, and by the time I can sit down, and post to the blog, I am pretty much too beat to do it. However, it's been a while, and I got the urge to post tonight, and share some photos from some of the recent things that have been going on. So here goes...

First, I've been to all the Bucs games this season. Yup, even went to the Atlanta game. Ouch! Call me a glutten for punishment. 0-3, Simms out for the season, this could be a very ugly football season. At least T.O. is not on our team - so we don't have all that drama to deal with too. Anyway, here's some photos from the games for your enjoyment.

BUCS v. RAVENS

As some of you may know a bunch of us travelled up to Atlanta to go to the Bucs v. Falcons game, and see our old buddy Steve Fazio, and have some fun. It was a great time, and we got to do some site seeing as well. Atlanta, if you've never been, is a pretty interesting and fun place, and the food there is good too! :-) Yes, the game was brutal, as we got beat pretty bad by the amazing Mike Vick and Co., but other than that, the weekend trip was great! Hopefully we can do it again next year!

BUCS v. FALCSON (In Atlanta)

GEORGIA AQUARIUM

While in Atlanta, we checked out one of the largest, if not the largest, aquariums in the world. The largest exhibit included four Whale Sharks. There are some pictures below, but if you want to view my online photo album of Atlanta, the Aquarium, the Game, and more, please click here: ATLANTA (78) PHOTOS - CLICK HERE

Anthony has been doing great with school. He really enjoys his teacher and classmates, and surprisingly is up on time every school day (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), and does a good job getting ready for a 3-1/2 year old. This week the color his class learned about was yellow, so he's been incorporating all of his yellow clothes to celebrate. Not too many yellows - especially since we have a Spiderman fan as a son, but he's managed. As you can imagine, we have had our daily scooter ride, and tour our neighborhood. It may be just me, but it seems like a lot of homes are now on the market, and our neighborhood has been no exception. We'll see where this real estate market goes, but so far it's not looking good.

Donna has been doing great too! She loves the fact that she can come home and take a nap (after working the night/graveyard shift) now that Anthony has school three days a week. I am not sure how she does it, but she's definately a trooper! By the way.... if you can keep a secret, her birthday is next week on October 5th. :-)

Well, enough rambling from me for one night. I hope you enjoy the rest of the week, and the cooler weather that's headed our way. Expect more pictures and blog posts soon.

Aquarium and more....

I hope all of you had a great Labor Day weekend, and short work week. We sure did! This past Sunday, Donna, Anthony and I headed over to the Florida Aquarium in Tampa. I must say, it was pretty impressive. We haven't been there for many years, and we were very happy with all of the exhibits. Below is a link to check out all of our fishy photos.

Here's some photos from the aquarium:

You can check out the Florida Aquarium's site at: THE FLORIDA AQUARIUM

In addition to the aquarium, we headed over to Chuck E. Cheese -- by far, Anthony's favorite place to play and have fun. He's been saving tickets since January, and finally cashed in 7000 tickets!! Yup, 7000! Here's his two prizes he earned.

For dinner tonight we tried the new Louis Pappas restaurant on 4th Street. I must say, it was a nice change from the normal run of the mill chain restaurants. It's a pleasant mix of local greek cuisine (former Pappas restaurant in Tarpon Springs), and a casual dining atmosphere. You can go for lunch, dinner, or take out. Very nice looking place, clean, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the roast garlic feta spread with pita pieces for an appetizer. Also, for lunch give the mojo pork a try. My folks had the flatbread pizza and the fire roasted octopus(Dad, of course), and really enjoyed it. Donna had a cheesesteak sandwich, and I tried the Greek Stir Fry. All were very good meals. Desserts we very good too! Here's the site if you want to get some details about it: LOUIS PAPPAS RESTAURANT

Last but not least, here's some informative sites if you are looking to do some traveling in the near future. The sites are apparently very helpful in tracking down the least expensive airline fares, compareing fares like the travel agents use, and let's you know if better fares are expected in the near future. The sites are:

FARE COMPARE

AIR FARE WATCH DOG

As many of you probably know, all you have to do is click on the different colored text and the links above, and it will take you right to the websites, videos, photo albums I have linked up. Another feature is to click on the photos, and they will enlarge.

Have a great Sunday, and GO BUCS!!
